Location
La Balme is a residence on the Route de Balme in Val d'Isere which is very close to the Bellevarde cable car and main Solaise lift.  It takes a few minutes to walk there and the town centre is about 5 mins max. The location is great. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, up several small flights of stairs. There is no lift in the building but (honestly) the stairs are not a problem.

The property
Under new ownershp and newly renovated for season 24 / 25, this is a comfortable apartment that is a mixture of old and new wood to give a cosy, modern twist on the Savoyarde style

The hallway has plenty of hanging space . Opposite this area is a shower room with WC and basin. The use of modern materials makes this bathroom light and airy. The hallway cupboards also house a washing machine.

The main room is further down the hall that comprises an open plan living/kitchen/dining room. The sitting room has a large comfortable sofa plus additional seating . This gives the room its cosy and relaxed appeal.

This is a 2nd double bedroom with the bed set to one corner. This is not a large bedroom but ample for a couple.
