Balme 322

Location
La Balme is a residence on the Route de Balme in Val d'Isere which is very close to the Bellevarde cable car and main Solaise lift.  It takes a few minutes to walk there and the town centre is about 5 mins max. The location is great. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, up several small flights of stairs. There is no lift in the building but (honestly) the stairs are not a problem.

The property
A comfortable apartment that sits well with a touch of classic Savoyarde wood panelling and some wooden furniture.

The hallway has plenty of hanging space and bench seat to sit down and de-robe. Opposite this area is a shower room with WC and basin. The use of modern materials makes this bathroom light and airy. The hallway cupboards also house a washing machine.

The main room is further down the hall that comprises and open plan living/kitchen/dining room. The sitting room has a large comfortable sofa covered in faux fur rugs and suede and fur cushions, plus two chairs covered in the similar faux fur rugs. This gives the room its cosy and relaxed appeal.

The kitchen is hidden behind a bar and includes a large fridge, normal sized oven, 4 ring electric hob, dishwasher and sink with draining board, toaster and kettle.

The dining table sits the other side of the kitchen with a bench seat one side and additional chairs to make up a table to seat 8 without a squeeze.

Bedroom 1
This is a double bedroom with a sink in the corner and plenty of storage space.

Bedroom 2
This larger room is suitable for either adults or children with twin beds on the left hand side plus a single bed on the right.  

Bedroom 3
This is a 2nd double bedroom with the bed set to one corner. There is modern art on the walls, one bedside table and a wardrobe for storage with shelving one side and hanging space the other. This is not a large bedroom but ample for a couple.

Bedroom 4
This is a compact box room with a single bed.
It doesn't have a window. It also includes a wardrobe with shelving one side, hanging the other and two top cupboards.

2nd bathroom
As well as the shower room with WC off the hallway, the 2nd bathroom includes a full length bath with a glass panel and shower attachment on the wall, a sink and a WC. It also includes a heated towel rail.

Further shower room
The owners have created another shower room down the corridor from Bedroom 1 & 2. This is literally a shower room where you enter and you are standing in the shower itself.
