The Val d'Isère test center is open. Below is the procedure for the different types of tests:
Antigen Test:
• Only possible by appointment - to be taken directly via the e-mail address centrecovid@valdisere.fr
• We will inform you as soon as the online meeting platform is in place (this service will be offered in French and English)
• Open every day of the week at the COVID screening center in front of the Médival practice in Val d'Isère
• Price: 40 €
• 24 hour validity in France
PCR test: Results currently under 18h
PCR tests are carried out only when the need for travel requires it.
• Only possible by appointment - to be taken directly via the e-mail address centrecovid@valdisere.fr
• We will inform you as soon as the online meeting platform is in place (this service will be offered in French and English)
• Monday to Friday at the COVID screening center in front of the Médival office in Val d'Isère
• On Saturdays, go directly to the Oriade laboratory in Bourg Saint Maurice (for more information, click here)
• No tests on Sunday
• Price: € 40 at the COVID screening center in Val d'Isère and € 34 more when the test is carried out at the Oriade laboratory in Bourg Saint Maurice
• 24h validity in France - abroad the validity period will depend on the decision of each country
Organization of screening:
• Number of tests that can be performed per day (antigenic PCR *): a maximum of 300 people per day.
• Prices for each test (including consultation): € 40 at the COVID screening center in Val d'Isère and € 34 more when the PCR test is performed at the Oriade laboratory in Bourg Saint Maurice.
• Problem of laboratory saturation: the Oriade laboratory in Bourg Saint Maurice relocates the analysis of all of its tests to Grenoble * Lyon and announces that there will be no delay.
To note :
• In the event of a positive result for COVID: infected people must manage their isolation themselves, the community has to date no re-housing solutions for this request.
• Recognition of the results of PCR tests carried out abroad, outside the EU, before arrival for the health pass: the Solaise pharmacy (Val d'Isère) offers equivalence via a paid service. covid_hors_ue.pdf (valdisere.com)
• No possibility of express PCR tests with a result 2-3 hours after the test.
• In Bourg Saint Maurice, the Oriade laboratory performs PCR tests (for more information, Laboratoire ORIADE-NOVIALE Bourg Saint Maurice - Oriade Noviale)
